Girasol Arizona is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the neurodiverse community through inclusive and culturally responsive programs. Founded by Gennieva, a devoted advocate and mother of two autistic children, the organization was born from her personal experiences and the need to better serve minority families navigating the complexities of behavioral health and neurodiversity.
With a solid academic foundation in psychology and special education, along with more than four years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Gennieva leads Girasol with both expertise and compassion. The organization offers sensory-friendly events, parent support groups, and educational resources—all aimed at fostering understanding, empowerment, and connection within diverse communities. At its core, Girasol Arizona stands for advocacy, inclusion, and the celebration of every individual’s unique strengths.
